Picture this: it’s the first day back at work or school after a long weekend and you’ve already slept through your alarm. Twice.

You’re in a rush and wondering what you should grab for breakfast on the run? Should you just skip it altogether?

Sound familiar?

In our fast-paced world, everything is happening in a rush. We grab the first decent-looking thing from the fridge in the morning and gulp it down, we speed through our lunches while we scroll through instagram and we mindlessly watch whatever’s on TV during dinner.

For many of us, we’ve taken the pleasure out of meal times. Sadly, meals are no longer a time of talking and gathering together but rather, something that takes up time in between tasks. Meals have been replaced with mindless chomping and finger scrolling.

I want to put the pleasure back into food and that’s why I’ve created my Chia Pleasure Pudding!

It’s the kind of breakfast you can make the night before and then wake up and reach for. How easy is that? I like to soak my chia seeds for at least 30 minutes before eating them to make them easier to digest.  Some people report bloating and gut issues after eating chia, if this sounds like you,  I recommend starting really small and use only a tablespoon of chia and ensure they are soaked beforehand so that they absorb the liquids before hitting your tummy.  This breakfast-in-a-jar is packed full of fibre, protein, and omega-3’s and just eating it will bring you sheer pleasure.

The simple combination of power-packed chia seeds and my Love Your Gut powder is a great way to start your morning off just right. Now, the first thing you grab out the fridge can be a healthy and delicious option. I just have one more request, sit down and enjoy it and think about it as the breakfast thing that brings you CHIA pleasure.

Chia’z to that!

Chia Pleasure Pudding

  • 1 TBSP chia seeds
  • 1 tsp Love Your Gut powder
  • ½ cup milk of choice
  • ½ cup fruit of choice, I used berries and bananas
  1. Mix LYG powder and chia seeds together in a small bowl or jar and then add the milk and stir
  2. Cover and place in the fridge overnight to allow chia seeds to expand
  3. In the morning, mix your pudding and top with your favourite fruity toppings!
